ABOUT ELITCH GARDENS
Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park first opened its doors in 1890 (then called Elitch’s Zoological Gardens), when Denver was just a small town. Over the decades it evolved, adding gardens, a zoo, a theatre, roller coasters and more, becoming a beloved institution in Colorado. In 1995 the park relocated to its current downtown location, transforming into a modern amusement and water park that combines thrills, water attractions, and accessibility in the heart of Denver.
